Adrian has worked inside engineering teams at LSEG, NatWest Group, Sherpany, Devoteam and Eficode as a senior DevSecOps engineer, primarily building policy-as-code systems, automated guardrails that enforce security and compliance rules inside the delivery pipeline rather than in a review meeting.
That work is the reason A2DevOps exists, and it is why Norn, its open-source Terraform policy engine, is the shape it is: checks that run before an apply, not after an incident.

What does A2DevOps do?
- A2DevOps builds and operates production infrastructure for SaaS and technology companies: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, Terraform and OpenTofu infrastructure as code, observability, and cloud cost control. Work is delivered as an embedded engagement rather than a hand-off: everything is built in the client's own cloud accounts and repositories.
How does an engagement work?
- Fixed-price for a defined scope, or a month-to-month retainer cancellable with 30 days notice. Engagements start with a review of the current stack and a written plan before any infrastructure changes. There is no proprietary tooling to unwind and nothing to migrate when the work ends.
How big is A2DevOps?
- A2DevOps is a solo practice. Engagements are delivered by Adrian directly, which means no account managers and no hand-off to a junior team, and a hard limit on how many clients run concurrently. If a project needs more capacity than one senior engineer, that is said up front rather than discovered in month three.
What is Norn?
- Norn is an open-source policy engine A2DevOps maintains for Terraform and OpenTofu. It evaluates CEL policies against plan JSON before anything is applied, and reports values that are only known after apply as unknown rather than guessing. It is Apache-2.0 licensed.
